The name of the Global Opportunities program is designed to be short and memorable: “GO”. It captures the essence of what the program is about – building global bridges through community partnership, cultural understanding and shared learning. In previous years, student teams have visited Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda and Moree.
The GO program allows students the opportunity to visit communities across the world, whilst developing skills and awareness, including leadership capacity, verbal literacy and communication.
In Rwanda we work in a range of schools in the Northern Province, in conjunction with the Shyira Anglican Diocese. NBCS students participate in running in-school programs, enabling teachers to run teacher professional development.
