International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day was an opportunity to honour the contribution and leadership of girls and women in our community. Various activities took place at NBCS including the profiling of inspirational women across our campus screens and the library. Two of our Secondary girls also represented NBCS at the Young Women’s Leadership Seminar at Parliament.

Hon Catherine Cusack MLC wrote on her Facebook page on 8 March at 13:01 , “👏 Thank you to the Parliament of NSW for organising this year’s Young women’s leadership Seminar today on International Women’s Day. It was so fantastic to be able to participate again in the forum and meet students like Charlie and Bella from Northern Beaches Christian School – two of more than 45 students from 20 schools who joined us in the NSW Legislative Council chamber along with another 600 students online. #IWD #GoTheGirls 💪”
