Assistant Principal - Student Opportunities
Chris is an enthusiastic educator and leader who is passionate about creating non-traditional opportunities for students to grow and learn. The Student Opportunities role allows Chris to lead specific projects like Student Opportunity Week and the Global Opportunities program, which seek to give students opportunities beyond the curriculum that support and encourage growth and development in new areas. Chris’ leadership of the Student Service Teams has seen growth to 11 teams involving nearly 100 students.
With over 25 years in education, Chris' teaching background is in the areas of TAS, ICT and Maths. He has completed a Masters of Educational Technology & Leadership, with a focus on leading the adoption of technology in education and in improving teacher capacity. With a passion for engaging students in their learning, Chris connects with students and teachers to inspire them and develop connected and innovative learning environments.
Chris supports and encourages the people around him to take the opportunity to grow. He is a passionate educator desiring to see excellence in staff and students alike.
