Assistant Principal, Wellbeing
Mick leads the NBCS Student Growth Team. His role is focused on equipping young people, and those who work directly with students, to positively manage and rise above challenges that young people face today. Skills include conflict resolution, providing mediation and developing relational resilience among the Secondary students.
Providing an essential support role in the school, Mick has been trained as a child protection investigating officer and is also responsible for ensuring that issues concerning the wellbeing of students are appropriately followed up with procedural fairness and natural justice
Mick also teaches Christian Studies and has been significantly involved in the NBCS GO Program, in particular, leading the Cambodia team for many years.
