Year 9 Textiles – Mask Making

Aug 25, 2020

“Thank you for the masks Year 9!” NBCS staff

Over the past 2 weeks, the Year 9 Textiles students have been working to produce fabric face masks for themselves and the NBCS staff community. The girls researched the best and most effective face mask patterns and then got to work, forming a production line to make as many masks as they could. All the masks were made out of recycled fabric from previous projects. It was fantastic to see them investigating a real-world issue and using their skills to make an impact on those around them and the environment.

They did such a good job working together. The masks look great and many of the staff were grateful recipients of these masks.
