Interschools Mountain Biking Championships

Outstanding results in 2025!
Congratulations to our 20 riders who as a team finished 12th out of 291 schools!
Congratulations to Michael Jeffrey – 3rd in All Mountain and finished 5th overall while Max Cogley finished 12th overall in Division 1.
AND Congratulations to our Division 1 boys who were outstanding winning 1st place in 3 disciplines, All Mountain, Downhill and Flow Motion and 2nd place in the 4th discipline, Pump Track.

Mountain Bike Interschools returns to Thredbo in March 2025, with over 400 school students competing across 5 events to be crowned individually & overall champion school. Feature events will be the Downhill, Cross-Country, Flow Trail and the fast flowing Pump Track Challenge.
To attend this competition, we have established criteria for students to be eligible to compete, given the impact on learning.
Your child must:
• Have previously competed in at least one official MTB event with a recorded result.
• Be responsible for catching up on any specific work during this time.
• Understand that no application for extensions of both class work and assessments will be granted due to the timing of this event.

Years: Students in Years 3-12
Registration: Parents can enter and pay for their child directly here. ENTRIES CLOSE 5pm this Friday 14 February.
Once registered, we ask all families, whether in Primary or Secondary, to complete the NBCS 2025 MTB Interschools Team Form, with events entered, dates you will be away, and where you are staying.
Leave: Students competing will automatically have SPORTS EXEMPTION from Monday 3 – Friday 7 March.
Uniform: NBCS MTB Jersey, along with pants and safety gear. If you are on the podium, we ask that you wear your NBCS MTB Jersey.
