Year 11 – Welcome to the Senior Years

Dear Year 11 Students and Parents/Guardians,

A very warm welcome to a new school year at NBCS. My name is Theo Gillespie and I am the Year 11 Community Leader. This will be a great year and I am excited and eager to partner with such an amazing team of Mentors and students.

We hope that you can join us on Tuesday 11 February for an informative and helpful session that will guide your child commencing their final years of study with us at NBCS.

Mentor Team Leaders

The Year 11 Mentors are a passionate and intelligent group of staff that share a passion for your child’s growth and success. We enjoyed meeting those of you who were able to attend the recent ‘Meet the Mentor’ sessions. We understand this was not possible for everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Mentor if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year. It will be of great assistance as they oversee the wellbeing of your child. Uniform

We expect our Year 11 students to take pride in their appearance and represent the NBCS community well. It is therefore important that parents/guardians are also aware of the uniform standards.

Correct wearing of the school uniform is an important part of our school culture. A more detailed and specific overview of our uniform code is included in the linked Parent Handbook, which is located within the NBCS website Parent Portal.

Sport

There are many sporting opportunities offered throughout the year in which students can participate.
