Primary Swimming Carnival

Tuesday 11 February 2020, was the annual Years 2-6 Swimming Carnival at Ryde Aquatic Centre. Students were involved in competitive races and non-competitive activities including the water slide, novelties and lizard lane. There were many outstanding achievements, but in particular, we want to say congratulations to all the students who participated in as many events as possible to gain points for their house and showed amazing sportsmanship.

Two records were broken on the day:

• Rebecca Gonzalo (Bennelong) broke the 11 Year Girls 50m Butterfly record in a time of 36.32s (a record previously set by her older sister).
• The Senior Boys Chisholm relay team broke the Senior Boys Relay record in a time of 2.27.92. The Chisholm relay team was made up of Charlie Cook, Matteo Flore, Lewis Graydon and Nathan Walters.
