All Year 2-6 students will compete at the NBCS Athletics Carnival. Please be aware that due to the Sydney Academy of Sport (Narrabeen) track closure, the NBCS athletics carnival venue has separate track and field areas.

K-2 students will have a separate Athletics Carnival held at NBCS at a later date (TBC). However, all Year 2 students are invited to the Primary Athletics Carnival as the first eligible age group for races is the 8 year old age group.

If students place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at the NBCS Athletics Carnival in an individual track or field event, they will qualify for the CSSA North Met Zone Athletics Carnival.

With regards to the 4x100m Relay Teams, the selection process has now changed for these teams. After the NBCS final results have been published, 6 students per age group (Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Senior Boys, Senior Girls) will be selected to trial for the NBCS Relay Teams. These students will train with the coaches and a team of 4 will be selected by the end of Term 2. Selection will be based on: Baton changeovers; 100m times, willingness and commitment to training.
