Become a TSAS Intern
NBCS is a member of the Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney. The TSAS Intern Program provides a pathway for future teachers to gain hands-on experience and professional development within a supportive faith-filled environment. Interns are in the classroom from Week 1, working with a mentor teacher throughout their degree, and learning within a supportive cohort.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a teacher or making a career change to teaching, consider becoming an NBCS TSAS Intern.
Who: Aspiring tertiary students looking to start or transfer into a Bachelor or Masters education degree.
Position: Paid 1-day per week role during term time, with a Mentor teacher in the Intern’s area of study, whether Primary or Secondary. This commitment continues throughout the TSAS Intern’s study and includes a 50% contribution to tertiary fees.
