HSC Visual Arts Bodies of Work
Year 12 Visual Arts students eagerly embarked on their creative journey, capturing their thoughts, engaging in meaningful discussions, and delving into the work of past artists. Ideas blossomed into experiments, and those experiments sparked new questions, all in the pursuit of a cohesive concept. This year’s artworks were a testament to each student’s individuality, reflecting the diversity of their interests. Students explored various expressive forms, including Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Printmaking, Textiles and Fibre, and Collections of Works. Some embraced expressive, abstract approaches, while others pursued highly realistic styles. The Showcase allowed the community to experience these final works, read artist statements, and offer words of encouragement to each student.
