Young NBCS Writers win age group awards

Two of our budding Primary authors, Avery (Year 3) and Indiana (Year 6), won age group awards in the Australia My Country writing competition. They were presented with their awards at a special ceremony.

Sponsored by the Forestville RSL, the competition is designed to enhance the Primary participants’ sense of pride by commemorating through writing and art Australia’s military heritage. The 2024 theme was “Going on an ‘adventure’ – Australia in August 1914”.
