Our annual musical Mamma Mia!, performed in the last week of Term 1, delighted audiences and saw several shows sold out.
The students put in countless hours over two terms to perfect their roles, scenes, dance numbers and technical presentation (sound, lighting and staging). It was a pleasure to see the return of our alumni, who generously volunteered their expertise as lighting, backstage and audio technician mentors. Thanks to Ben (class of 2021), Tom (class of 2023), Charlie (class of 2023), William (class of 2022) and Sam (class of 2019) for their invaluable contributions to making Mamma Mia! one of our best-ever NBCS productions.
Thanks also go to the many parent helpers in costumes, hair and make-up, and to the hard-working teachers who went the extra mile and kept things on track from start to finish.
Director Isaac Owens said, “The final Mamma Mia day (two performances) was spectacular. It was beautiful to see every single scene, song and dance looking it’s very best.”
Now that Mamma Mia! is over, the selection and planning for the 2025 musical begins!
